This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DCDC/JH9.
What You'll Do
- →Advises senior leadership on Congressional relations, legislative affairs, and political-military strategy to support the Command’s mission, resources, authorities, and strategic objectives.
- →Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive legislative strategies and programs for improving the Command's process for proposing, shaping, and strengthening legislative proposals.
- →Prepares timely, comprehensive, and insightful written reports and analyses of legislative proposals, bills, and laws of interest to the Command.
- →Monitors Congressional changes and coordinates with OSW-P, DoW-OLC, and USCC-LL to keep command guidance current, relevant, and aligned with warfighting priorities.
- →Responsible for tracking, staffing, and completing Congressional reporting requirements for timely and accurate delivery to Congress, ensuring compliance with all applicable deadlines and regulations.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.
