- →CPD seeks to develop viable communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low and moderate-income persons.
- →The primary means toward this end is the development of partnerships among all levels of government and the private sector, including for-profit and non-profit organizations.
- →As a/an Director CPD (Field), you will: Oversee the effective management of a grant portfolio, CPD formula and competitive programs which includes large metropolitan areas and significant financial investments, ensuring the timely processing of grant applications, contract execution, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as HUD guidelines.
- →Develop and execute multiyear and annual plans which are aligned with Departmental strategic goals and are responsive to specific needs of the community involving the Field Directors in the process.
- →Delegate authority to subordinates supervisors and hold them accountable for the performance of their organizational unit.
- →Serve as CPD's primary regional representative over Field Offices jurisdictions, promoting CPD programs and Departmental initiatives.
- →Represent HUD and CPD at national, state, local other professional meetings and conferences.
Requirements

- ✓Citizen or U.S.
