This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
What You'll Do
- →Our 120-bed Community Living Center (CLC) provides long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, palliative care, and hospice services.
- →Our residents present with a wide range of medical conditions including dementia, spinal cord injury, oncology, renal disease, diabetes, wound healing, and enteral nutrition needs.
- →The CLC fosters a strong interdisciplinary culture where dietitians are highly valued by physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, pharmacists, and nursing staff.
- →The new CLC dietitian will join a supportive team that includes 2.0 FTE RDs and 1.5 FTE Diet Health Technicians.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4pm, rotating tours of duty as needed, rotating holidays, on-site for hurricanes on a rotating A/B schedule.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen to apply for this job.
