About the Position: This position is located with the 96th Medical Group, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment or relocation incentive MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Student loan repayment MAY be authorized Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced leave accrual MAY be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Assist radiologists in performing specialized and invasive procedures.
- →Ensure optimal radiographs are presented to the radiologist for interpretation.
- →Perform difficult procedures such as bone densitometry, multiaxial tomography/computed tomography procedures, cardiovascular Prepare film processing chemicals, loads and unloads cassettes, operates film processor, develops film, and makes copies of radiographic film.
- →Perform front desk duties to include receiving patients, scheduling, and explaining methods of examination in person and over the telephone.
