About the Position: This position is located at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, with the Defense Health Agency Department of Radiology, Fort Hood, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform difficult and complex diagnostic procedures.
- →Receive patients, explain method of procedure, position patient, select and set technical factors, set up and adjust accessory equipment, and make exposures necessary for the requested procedure.
- →Assist radiologists in performing specialized and invasive procedures.
- →Establish and maintain records of patient information using computer database, and maintain quality control documentation for accrediting and certifying entities.
- →Operate and maintain radiographic processors, monitor development temperatures, correct transport obstructions, and maintain replenishment levels of materials and supplies.
