About the Position: This position is is for the Computed Tomography (CT) tech position located at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation -A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. -Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. -Student Loan repayment may be authorized. -Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Review radiographic Computed Tomography (CT) requests to ensure it is the correct study, ensure each image meets standard, send images to radiologists, and ensure exam is complete.
- →Instruct, monitor, and observe other technologists in all aspects of the radiographic exam, patient care and handling.
- →Troubleshoot and assure CT imaging equipment is functioning properly.
- →Provide direct teaching and guidance for student and staff technologists in Diagnostic Radiology.
- →Monitor the function of digital and analog processors.
- →Demonstrate proficiency with all diagnostic modalities of the Diagnostic Radiology Service, Department of Radiology to include Operating Room (OR), Portables, Urology (GU), and Orthopedic X-Ray.
