About the Position: This position is located with the Department of Radiology at Tripler Army Medical Center on the Island of Oahu, HI. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. What You'll Do
- →Direct the work of one or two lower grade technologists/technicians when procedures require assistance.
- →Communicate with patients the methods of procedures.
- →Perform CT procedures.
- →Confer with radiologist to establish requirements of nonstandard examinations.
- →Administer IV contrast media for CT procedures requiring IV contrast enhancement.
- →Provide basic nursing duties related to radiography such as emergency cardiac arrest procedures, use of the oxygen, suction and connecting patients to the EKG and blood pressure apparatus.
- →Evaluate the nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearrange patient priorities to accommodate them.
- →Enter and maintain quality control data into a database for statistical purposes.
