About the Position: This position is located within the Department of Radiology, Computed Tomography (CT) Section, to deliver direct patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Room (ER) settings. Based on mission requirements, the position may require work during non-standard tours of duty, including nights, weekends, on-call duty, and overtime. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform computerized axial tomographic scanning (CT) and x-ray.
- →Receive patients, explain methods of procedures, position patients, and make exposures necessary for the requested examination.
- →Prepare the scanning room, assuring that sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters and other required equipment are present and laid out.
- →Prepare and administer contrast material (IV) and limited number of anesthetic or antispasmodic drugs such as lidocaine, epinephrine and Benadryl under direction of radiologist.
- →Provide on-the-job training to new employees, both civilian and military.
