About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army MSCoE, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is an hour's drive West of Fort Leonard Wood.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the deputy to the Geospatial Enterprise Officer.
- →Assists the Geospatial Enterprise Officer in determining the long-range total Army impact of new geospatial concepts and capabilities, new systems and components.
- →Supervises civilian and military personnel equivalent ranging GS-07 - GS-14 grade levels.
- →Reviews broad field of geospatial related technology available in area of geospatial capability development, geospatial data requirements, display, analysis, data management, modeling, and dissemination, in concert with Army capability developments.
- →Integrates methods for testing and certifies the performance of geospatial data products and information against the intended use.
