You will serve as a DEPUTY FORCE MAINTENANCE OFFICER in the SHIP MAINTENANCE AND MATERIAL READINESS DIRECTORATE (N43) of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC.
What You'll Do
- →You will lead execution oversight of maintenance, modernization, and lifecycle sustainment for aircraft carriers.
- →You will serve as a principal advisor on all matters related to ship maintenance, modernization, depot repair, and readiness impact.
- →You will lead integration efforts to ensure synchronized planning, risk mitigation, and execution in support of Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP) timelines.
- →You will review funding profiles and provide recommendations for adjustments within ship repair funding categories, including emergent maintenance, program maintenance, and Chief of Naval Operations (CNO).
- →You will oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of an annual ship repair portfolio, including CNO availabilities, continuous maintenance, and emergent depot-level repairs.
- →You will review funding profiles and provide recommendations for adjustments within ship repair funding categories, including emergent maintenance, program maintenance, and CNO Availability funding lines.
- →You will provide strategic and technical guidance including mentorship, training, and workload prioritization.
- →You will review work products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies, regulations, and applicable federal guidelines.
- →You will engage and coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to align policy, funding, scheduling, and execution efforts.
