This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does not convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) HQ-JH95.
What You'll Do
- →Promote awareness of cyberspace operations, policy and strategy as appropriate among senior leaders and ensure sound principles are reflected in the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
- →Establish internal systems, programs, and controls as necessary to monitor task accomplishment in order to promote an efficient, effective, and proactive organization.
- →Coordinate the efforts of Directorate for Strategy and Plans in policy development; preparation of plans and guidance; and evaluation of program performance in support of strategic objectives and achievement of desired regional effects.
- →Oversee the preparation and execution of senior level reports/briefings on strategy, strategic issues, and strategic guidance documents submitted to the directorate for comment or review.
- →Act as directorate senior civilian and Activity Career Plan Manager.
- →Supervise mentorship and career development for civilians.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.
