This position is in the Wage and Hour Division (WHD), Office of Regional Enforcement and Support (ORES), San Francisco District Office. The position assists the Director of Operations in the executive direction, guidance, and operational matters in developing, planning, and carrying out all Wage and Hour programs within the assigned Region.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent will assist the Director of Operations in coordinating the development of integrated plans, local policies, strategies, guidelines, systems, and procedures for Wage Hour program activities in the Region.
- →Assists in the evaluation of the overall impact and effectiveness of assigned Wage Hour programs in the region in meeting the needs of national program goals of the Wage and Hour Administrator.
- →Supervises the BWFS employees and directs a comprehensive review of ongoing financial systems such as CMP, BWFS, budget, procurement, personnel management, space, and IT within the region to ensure and enforce compliance by the District Offices with Wage Hour National Office and Regional Office policy, regulations, and procedures.
- →Serves as the principal point of contact and technical expert on Labor-Management Relations and Performance Management for the Region by providing advice and counsel to management throughout the region.
