What You'll Do
- →As the Deputy Administrative Officer, the incumbent will participate fully in directing and managing the overall administrative support program for the United States Attorney's Office.
- →Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Serving as a Deputy Chief of the Administrative Division and, with the Administrative Officer (AO), participating fully as a senior administrative advisor to the United States Attorney for planning and managing all United States Attorney's Office (USAO) resources.
- →Assisting the Administrative Officer in managing, through two or more subordinate supervisors, a subordinate staff of administrative, technical, and clerical staff organized in two or more organizational units.
- →Actively participating with District management in the formulation and implementation of district-wide policies and procedures pertaining to management and general office administration.
- →Advising senior management staff on options to define and maximize overall effectiveness of administrative programs.
- →Assisting the Administrative Officer in analyzing organizational and work design proposals recommended by subordinate supervisors.
- →With the Administrative Officer, participating fully in the overall planning and management of a comprehensive administrative services and support programs: budget administration and financial management, personnel management and administration, security, space and facilities management, support services and property management, contracting and procurement, and all related internal controls.
