About the Role
This position is located at the Whiteriver Service Unit under Medical Services, Dental Department, in Whiteriver, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to serve as a clinical specialist in Endodontics to provide dental service to the designated population in accordance with the Indian Health Service policies. What You'll Do
- →Major Duties: Diagnostic by use of patient history, radiographs, examinations, diagnostic models, and other appropriate tests.
- →Endodontic restoration of teeth having suffered severe and rampant caries, periodontal disease, and trauma to the oral cavity and supporting structures.
- →Provides emergency services including the treatment of trauma, pain and infection.
- →Participate in the development and implementation of continuing education courses for the IHS dental program.
- →Provide technical guidance for the service unit dentists in the development and oepration of direct and contract endodontic programs.

Requirements
