About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Dental at Schofield Barracks, HI. The Clinic is a tobacco free workplace. Tobacco products include, but not limited to smoking, smokeless tobacco and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as laboratory technician in a dental clinic.
- →Perform the full range of technical work in the fabrication and repair of fixed prostheses and models.
- →Read, interpret, and apply requirements described in the dental prescription, designs and fabricates metal substructures for both porcelain and acrylic veneers.
- →Design and fabricate Flexible Removable Partials and Implant Retain acrylic dentures.
- →Prepare orthodontic set ups and fabricates other appliances such as night guards, splints, stents, sleep apnea devices, and tooth position devices.
- →Provide technical assistance, monitor work assignments, and inspect completed work to dental laboratory staff.
