About the Role
About the Position: This position is with Defense Health Agency, Dental Clinic, in Fort Benning, Georgia. Work is performed in an office environment from 0730-1630 Monday through Friday. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Assist dentist with simple and complex procedures such as tooth removal, surgical removal of impacted teeth, or excisional biopsies.
- →Set up instruments, equipment, and materials such as assembling syringes and IVs for anesthesia, mixing materials for impressions and restorations.
- →Participate in stand-up dentistry or four handed sit-down dentistry procedures.
- →Adhere to aseptic precautions throughout treatment or procedures.
- →Monitor patient throughout treatment or procedures for adverse reactions.
- →Educate patient on oral hygiene or post treatment care.
- →Perform dental radiographic work.
