This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Defense Travel Administrator in the Programs and Policy Division at Headquarters, for Army Transportation Command ARTRANS. Selection may be at either GS-9 or GS-11 level.
What You'll Do
- →Provide advice, assistance, and guidance covering a wide variety of travel-related financial program requirements for the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), SDDC's subordinate units and staff offices.
- →Provides guidance and customer service for the Travel Program to assist to travelers, Approving Officials, Certifying Officers, Accounting and Budget personnel.
- →Ensures the processing and/or reviewing of Defense Travel System (DTS) travel documents.
- →Provide support for the control and coordination of all required actions for the successful deployment, operation and management of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program for all SDDC military and civilian personnel.
- →Supports financial management execution in DTS.
- →Provide customer service and/or assistance to travelers, approving officials, certifying officers, and budget personnel.
- →Identifies potential discrepancies, develops corrective action plans, and ensures compliance of the Command's travel regulation compliance program.
