You will serve as a Data Scientist in the Analytics Group, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) in Patuxent River, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →You will design and maintain robust pipelines that extract, transform and load (ETL/ELT) data from various sources into data warehouses, data lakes, or other storage systems.
- →You will work with analytics product and service teams to identify new data stream requirements to support analysis and machine learning products.
- →You will build analytic tools to monitor and provide decision support for optimal storage, access, and data flow strategies.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position.
- ✓The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
