About the Position: This position is located within Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Department of Quality/Patient Safety at Bethesda, Maryland. Working collaboratively with the patient safety team to advance efforts aimed at reducing harm to our patients. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform as Data and Methods Analyst within the Patient Safety (PS) Team under the Chief of Patient Safety, Quality Directorate.
- →Develop and manage database applications and system reports to retrieve patient safety data, track and analyze metrics, and produce statistical reports supporting the PS mission.
- →Develop comprehensive methods or procedures to determine and measure the reliability, accuracy, and validity of PS data.
- →Develop and formulates studies, summaries, and substantive analysis, utilizing various source data collection systems.
- →Develop graphic presentations of statistical data, as well as composite material involving the measurement of PS data for briefings, publications, and various reports.
- →Interface with Patient Safety (PS) and Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) personnel to improve the uniformity and standardization of reporting systems and results format.
