This position is located within the U.S. Department of State, Office of the Executive Director, Information Technology and Analytics Division (OIG/EX/IT). The position serves as a senior Data Analyst and subject-matter expert responsible for leading complex analytical, evaluative, and data-driven work that supports OIG audits, inspections, evaluations and internal operations.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to support OIG oversight work, including trend analyses, forecasting, risk modeling, and evidence-based evaluations.
- →Develops methodologies for assessing program performance, operational practices, and policy effectiveness using structured and unstructured data.
- →Oversees acquisition, validation, and integration of data from the Department of State and other federal agencies.
- →Develops data quality standards, data definitions, and governance procedures.
- →Supports the development of organizational data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata standards, and analytics enablement.
