About the Role

This position is located at MWR IMCOM Support Office - Training. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Serves as a program specialist and subject matter expert for child and youth programs within the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Directorate.
  • Provides personnel management, administrative, logistical, and technology support.
  • Responsible for Child Development Services, School Age Services, Youth Services, CYS Liaison, Education, and Outreach Support, and Community-Based Services.
  • Develops and revises policy directives, plans, and operational materials for Army-wide implementation of child and youth programs.
  • Develops contract specifications for program materials and services.
  • Executes Directorate effort to provide technical assistance through training workshops, process action teams, on-site visits, and inspections.
  • Represents and speaks for the Army on child and youth issues.
  • Develops and communicates the strategic/key messages for CYS programs.
  • Performs electronic file management and updates the professional resource library materials pertinent to the Directorate's mission.
  • Responsible for development and update of designated child and youth technical and procedural manuals and training courses, and assumes other duties as assigned to support Directorate operations.
