This position is located at Child and Youth Services, Grafenwohr, Germany. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) , Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Has the oversight and responsibility for the operation, integration, coordination, and oversight of an installation Child and Youth Delivery System IAW all applicable regulations and standards.
- →Ensures staff follow risk management procedures (i.e., abuse prevention, identification, and reporting procedures; accident prevention, etc.).
- →Develops policies, procedures and SOPs to support program goals.
- →Plans and supervises administration of the center-based system to include full day, part day preschool, before and after school age programs, hourly, special needs programs/services and summer camps for school age children.
- →Establishes and oversees food service program for centers and quarters-based programs ensuring compliance with Army and USDA food program policies and procedures to include proper meal components and food service/preparation and storage.
- →Recruits and hires qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions.
- →Supervises staff assigned directly to the delivery system and evaluates employees based on established performance standards.
