About the Role
You will serve as the Executive Assistant Director for Criminal Operations in the Office of the Deputy Director of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). NCIS is a federal law enforcement agency that protects and defends the Department of the Navy (DON) against terrorism and foreign intelligence threats and provides law enforcement and security services to the Navy and Marine Corps on a worldwide basis.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the primary advisor to NCIS leadership on all matters related to economic crimes, general crimes, and criminal intelligence investigations, leading the functional organizations responsible for these global programs.
- →You will exercise control over the initiation, coordination, analysis, and evaluation of all criminal operations and investigations conducted by NCIS field offices worldwide.
- →You will review complex operational matters and provide expert technical guidance to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and resolution of criminal investigations.
- →You will represent NCIS and the DON before senior DOW officials, other federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and Congressional hearings to provide testimony on criminal investigative matters, policies, and procedures.
- →You will formulate and enforce DON policy for criminal operations, developing long-range goals and managing the resources required to support the mission.
