What You'll Do
- →Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring for law enforcement jobs that have an exciting opportunity!
- →Once onboarded, you'll first be assigned for up to one year to support the D.C.
- →Safe and Beautiful Task Force.
- →The law enforcement component of the D.C.
- →Task Force is a partnership of over 20 federal and local agencies working together to make D.C. the safest city in America.
- →Once the assignment ends, you'll transition back to support the CBP.

- →Joining Office of Professional Responsibility, Investigative Operations Division, Field Investigations Division will allow you perform variety of administrative, research, and investigative duties.
- →This position starts at a salary of $91,985.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $142,199.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $142,199.00 (GS-13 Step 10).

- →Typical work responsibilities include: Employing all of the agency's authorities and capabilities in support of criminal, corruption, misconduct, counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence investigations/programs directly affecting national security and agency integrity.
- →Gathering and analyzing vital information, facts, evidence, and intelligence from a variety of sources including law enforcement and CBP specific databases, and through interviewing subject and witness employees.
- →Serving as the case agent for interagency investigations, representing OPR on interagency task forces, and leading teams of other special agents and law enforcement officers in investigations or operations.

- ✓Security Clearance: You may be required to obtain a Top-Secret clearance for this position.
- ✓Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP): As a law enforcement officer you will be required to work on an unscheduled basis in excess of the 40-hour work week.
- ✓These positions require substantial overtime to include holidays, weekends and nights.
- ✓You must be readily accessible to perform this unscheduled work.
