About the Role
You will serve as a CRANE OPERATOR in the CRANE & RIGGING BRANCH, ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT of NMC CWD DET SEAL BEACH.
What You'll Do
- →You will operate cranes to move ammunition, missiles, heavy equipment, machinery beams, lumber, crated or packed material, and similar items.
- →You will maintain crane equipment, performing such tasks as replacing spark plugs and fan belts, and cleaning and lubricating parts of cranes.
- →You will provide and implement plans to ensure material handling equipment (MHE) and ordnance handling equipment (OHE) are certified, inspected, and tested in accordance with appropriate regulations.
- →You will receive, examine, segregate, process, store, and issue fleet returned ordnance materials of all types.
- →You will be a designated certifying official and provide testing and licensing services for personnel who will be operating cranes.
- →You will maintain crane history files in accordance with instructions.
- →You will ensure conformance to all specified technical requirements and safety of ordnance material and operations.
