About the Position: This position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Mental Health. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients presenting with complex psychiatric conditions and co-occurring disorders.
- →Provide intensive individual and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based interventions within an interdisciplinary Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
- →Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans addressing mood, anxiety, trauma-related, personality, substance use, and other behavioral health conditions.
- →Manage a high-acuity clinical caseload requiring sound clinical judgment, timely documentation, and adherence to Department of Defense and professional practice standards.
- →Facilitate crisis assessment, suicide risk management, and safety planning while promoting patient stabilization and recovery.
- →Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care, monitor progress, and optimize clinical outcomes.
- →Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and the advancement of evidence-based intensive outpatient services.
- →Provide clinical supervision, consultation, or training to psychology trainees, psychiatry residents, or other behavioral health staff as program needs and individual qualifications support.
