About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Cavazos, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Provide individual, couples, marital, and family counseling services using evidence based therapeutic methods to support healthy relationship and family functioning.
- →Develop individualized treatment plans determine appropriate therapeutic interventions or referrals.
- →Provide in service training and consultation to behavioral health, primary care, and specialty staff on family systems, crisis intervention, and related topics.
- →Participate in program development by evaluating community needs, planning services, and supporting outreach and education efforts.
- →Lead or participate in interdisciplinary collaboration efforts, building partnerships and forums to address evolving family needs across the installation.
- →Conduct thorough clinical assessments using interviews, observations, and standardized tools to identify relationship and family concerns.
- →Monitor progress throughout treatment and adjust therapeutic approaches to improve outcomes.
