About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Mental Health Services in El Paso, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation HIGHLY PREFERRED: Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Psychologist from a State, the District of Columbia, or United States territory.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct evaluations of Soldiers, family members, retirees, and eligible Federal civilian employees referred for consultation.
- →Prepare written findings and diagnoses in a detailed, clear, and concise manner.
- →Prepare treatment plans that incorporate psychological theory and counseling techniques, and goals needed to restore patients to their normal work and social environment.
- →Provide strategic interventions, motivational interviewing techniques and crisis counseling for patients and families.
- →Document case findings, diagnoses, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- →Apply complex behavioral health principles to conduct comprehensive behavioral health evaluations.
