What You'll Do
- →Central Inmate Monitoring (CIM) Program arranges for and coordinates the special handling of inmates assigned to the program.
- →Nature of the Central Inmate Monitoring Program is one of secrecy and extreme sensitivity.
- →One must work across organizational lines, not only within the Bureau of Prisons, but with the Department of Justice, State and local officials as well.
- →Manages a WITSEC caseload in the Inmate Monitoring Section of the Bureau of Prisons Central Office.
- →Responsible for designates places of confinement for all inmates authorized into the Witness Security Program, including pre-trial and newly sentenced prisoners as well as those who have either been returned to custody.
- →Responsible for overall policy interpretation, maintenance and review for all CIM WITSEC issues.
- →Serves as the Central Office subject matter expert on CIM classification issues, forms preparation, clearance requirements, and case management philosophy.
