About the Position: This position is located within the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, Directorate of Resource Management, Material Management Department. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the contracting officer’s representative (COR) with responsibility for managing , coordinating, facilitating and administering a variety of health service and support contracts with various contracting sources.
- →Responsible for overall management of health service contracts with specific authority to deal directly with Contracting Officers and contracts.
- →Ensures that all acquisitioning processes and functions performed by the department are in conformance with current procurement laws, regulations and directives of various bureaus, offices, and branches of the federal government.
- →Analyzes requests for service and support contracts for medical and administrative personnel to enhance internal capabilities and provide recommendations.
- →Collaborate and liaise with the activity’s Directorate for Resource Management to provide solution on all discrepancies related to the financial aspect of all healthcare service and support contracts.
- →Supervises the overall work planning and organization of the department and provides direct supervision of assigned employees, if applicable.
