What You'll Do
- →Serve as a subject matter expert on the composition, measurement, and allocation of pension and insurance costs (CAS 412, 413, and 416).
- →Perform in-depth, complex compliance reviews of contractor pension plans, specifically pension allocations to government contracts.
- →Analyze General Dollar Magnitude (GDM) proposals and detailed Cost Impacts, and conduct materiality assessments to determine the financial effect of accounting practice changes and Noncompliance’s.
- →Perform technical assessments, peer reviews and/or reports to aid Contracting Officers in adjudicating cost accounting standards (CAS) Noncompliance’s.
- →Evaluate adequacy and compliance of contractor proposed accounting changes and support the development of official government positions and negotiation strategies.
- →Develops schedules, distributing tasks among team members and/or sub-team leads and makes adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities and time constraints.
- →Ensures that each team member has an integral role in developing the final team product, builds and mentors teams and interfaces with contractor leadership teams.
- →Coordinates, reviews and integrates team member analyses of cost elements and risk areas into a comprehensive report.
- →Briefs complex reports to senior military leaders and Government executives.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

- ✓Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓Licenses must be current at time of application.
- ✓GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
- ✓Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
