What You'll Do
- →This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- →As a Configuration Management Specialist at the NH-0301-3 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Coordinates comprehensive CM/DM activities across the system lifecycle, facilitating the engineering release process and reviewing ECPs, SCNs, and RFVs for technical accuracy and adherence to serialization standards.
- →Establishes and maintains authoritative functional, allocated, and product baselines by conducting rigorous reviews of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to ensure data integrity for procurement and production.
- →Provides expert guidance to the Configuration Control Board (CCB), utilizing systems such as Windchill and DSREDS to maintain real-time status accounting while developing standardized CM policies and procedures.
- →Facilitates Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) to validate as-designed, as-built, and as-modified configurations, ensuring contractor deliverables strictly adhere to Configuration Identification Documentation (CID).
- →Synthesizes technical data audits to support complex acquisition strategies and Foreign Military Sales (FMS), ensuring seamless integration and configuration compliance across joint government and contractor teams.
