You will serve as a COMBINED TRADES SUPERVISOR II in the MECHANICAL SHOP (Outside Machine Shop), PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of FLEET HRO PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan, direct, and coordinate the work of subordinate first-level supervisors.
- →You will serve as the final on-site authority for resolving complex technical problems and integration conflicts.
- →You will maintain balanced workloads by directing the shifting of assignments and resources between subordinates.
- →You will exercise second-level, delegated authority for all personnel and administrative functions.
- →You will provide authoritative information and advice to higher-level supervisors and management officials on the feasibility of work assignments, workload data, and budget estimates.
