You will serve as a COMBINED TRADES SUPERVISOR II in the Electrical Shop (Code 950), of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will make recommendations for promotions, reassignments, and awards for subordinate supervisors.
- →You will set performance expectations for subordinate supervisors, monitors their performance, and provides formal input for their annual appraisals.
- →You will hear and resolves group grievances and serious employee complaints referred by first-level supervisors.
- →You will plan on a quarterly or longer basis the overall use of subordinate trade crews and resources under their operational control for the duration of a ship availability project.
- →You will review and analyzes work accomplishments of subordinate crews to evaluate progress, control costs, and anticipate problems, recommending corrective action to project and production leadership
