About the Position: The position is located within Madigan Army Medical Center, Department of Mental Health. The primary work location is at the Child & Family Mental Health Services (CAFMHS) clinic. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Advance in Hire may be authorized. This is available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Screen and interview children, adolescents, and family members, and utilizes psychometric instruments in the assessment of psychological disorders typically affecting children and adolescents.
- →Perform biopsychological tests for the purpose of assessing patient’s cognitive, mental, educational, and emotional functioning.
- →Provide advice for case staffing, using expert knowledge of general and specific concepts, principles, procedures, and practices relating to the psychological counseling of children, adolescents, and family members.
- →Perform a wide variety of quality management/quality assurance (QM/QA) duties to meet HIPPA and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JC) requirements.
- →Provide expert professional consultation to primary care providers and other professional staff regarding the psychological functioning of children, adolescents, and families.
- →Develop, implement, and evaluate professional development activities, using expert knowledge of general and specific concepts, principles, procedures, and practices relating to clinical child adolescent psychology.
