About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Moncrief Army Health Clinic, Fort Jackson, SC. The incumbent works as an independent professional under the administrative supervision and carries out independent duties in accordance with generally accepted psychological theories, techniques, and practices. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Screens and interviews patients as well as perform psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations.
- →Provides timely feedback to internal and external stakeholders regarding consultation findings and recommendations.
- →Provides individual and/or group psychological counseling utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to child, adolescent, and/or adult patients.
- →Uses objective and measurable outcomes to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments if appropriate for increased compliance and efficacy.
- →Provides definitive diagnoses and formulate behavioral health interventions.
- →Provide crisis intervention for individuals and families undergoing unusual medically related stresses.
