About the Position: Serve as a Clinical Psychologist Mental Health Consultant (BHC) for the Clinic and Mental Health System of Care (BHSOC) Primary Care Mental Health (PCBH) program with the Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network Indo-Pacific, located at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital, Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
- →Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- →Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- →Assess acute mental health and mental medicine conditions in beneficiaries who present with such issues.
- →Participate in quality assurance activities.
- →Serve as the authority on primary care psychology for the clinic.
