What You'll Do
- →The following are the duties of this position at the GS-5.
- →You will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this developmental position.
- →Utilizes available computer software (including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and graphics) in preparing memoranda, letters, reports, charts, forms and other material from rough drafts, oral instructions and handwritten notes.
- →Serves as a consultant and reference source to other clerks in answering questions encountered in their work.
- →Also serves as consultant to supervisor of the unit.
- →Prepares transmittals of approved tax refund claims to Financial Management Division (FMD) for processing.
Requirements
- ✓The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
- ✓One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
