Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Mission Support Directorate, Employee Resiliency Integrity & Development Division. Location is negotiable to the following locations: Atlanta, GA Buffalo, NY Laredo, TX San Diego, CA Washington, DC
What You'll Do
- →Joining the Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations will allow you to use your expertise to manage one or more national programs in order to help to detect and prevent terrorists and instruments of terror from entering/exiting the U.S.
- →Apply for this exciting opportunity to direct programs that strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security.
- →This position starts at a salary of $129,258.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to$168,040.00 (GS-14, Step 10).
- →To meet agency needs, this position will be filled on a temporary basis not-to-exceed (NTE) 3 year, with possible extensions for an additional 2 years.
- →You may be returned, at any time, to the position from which temporarily promoted, or to a different position of equivalent grade and pay, and that the return is not subject to the procedures found in 5 C.F.R. §§ 351, 432, 752, and 771.
- →At management's discretion, you may be permanently promoted to this position without further competition.
- →Assuring implementation by subordinate organizations and operating units of the goals and objectives of DHS and CBP Serving as the project leader for program office projects as a subject matter expert (SME).

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Motor Vehicle Operation: You must possess the Ability to operate a Government Owned Vehicle.
- ✓A valid, non-restricted driver's license is required.
