About the Role

This vacancy is for a GS-1101-12, Business Services Manager located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, BASE MIAMI BEACH MORALE WELL-BEING and RECREATION DIV -PM in MIAMI BEACH, Florida.

What You'll Do

  • You will serve as a Business Services Manager and be responsible for planning, organizing and administering Morale, Well-being and Recreation (MWR) activities and programs that promote the physical, creative and social development of its participants throughout Coast Guard District 7 region.
  • Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
  • Typical work assignments include: Managing diverse functions supporting MWR activities, including equipment rentals, recreational facilities, merchandising, and regional events..
  • Developing, monitoring, and executing MWR capital and operating budgets for major program areas, including fund justification..
  • Serving as technical expert on regional MWR programs, providing information and recommendations to leadership based on evaluation and interpretation of complex subjects..
  • Direct supervision of General Schedule (GS) and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees.
