What You'll Do
- →Manages a Food Service Program within a business activity.
- →Develops, recommends and enforces operating procedures.
- →Plans and manages all phases of food service program where dining and catering are a substantial basis of the food operation.
- →Prepares/supervises the preparation of menus involving both standard and new cooking methods.
- →Represents the activity to the public.
- →Conducts customer surveys, reviews usage/sales to make recommendations concerning services, promotion activities and revenue improvements.
- →Develops operating budget and data, identifying labor, equipment, and supply costs.
- →Participates in the selection of employees, directs on-the-job-training of new employees, makes duty assignments consistent with operational requirements.
- →Controls food pricing and costs.
- →Oversees food ordering, storage and issues.
- →Directs subordinates in all phases of food preparation and food sanitation requirements.
- →Supervises assigned staff.
- →Performs other duties assigned.
