About the Role
About the Position: The incumbent works directly under the supervision of the Chief of Navigation Branch, performing a variety of budget administration functions.
What You'll Do
- →Performs a full range of budgetary duties associated with planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of assigned programs.
- →Provides authoritative and accurate guidance, assistance, analysis, evaluation, interpretation and support on all financial management to the, organizational leaders, supervisors and support staff.
- →Monitors and evaluates execution for assigned programs to ensure funds are executed in accordance with approved operating budgets and other financial requirements.
- →Assists in projecting and tracking obligations and expenditures within organization throughout the execution phase of the annual operating budget.
- →Verifies and ensures requirements included in budgets are consistent with organization's mission and requirements.
- →Analyzes and summarizes historical data to identify trends and assess funding requirements.
- →Prepares data summaries for inclusion in routine and special reports on budget execution.
