About the Role
About the Position: Perform a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the District's portion of the Regional budget. Provides budgetary and technical leadership for technical element directors in the development of cost estimates associated with long range multi-year civil works multiple reimbursable activities.
What You'll Do
- →Monitor charges made to the Revolving Fund account for all salary and expense items.
- →Conduct extensive fact-finding evaluations of requested items of work to determine if items are in scope or out of scope of the original work.
- →Review budget estimates prepared by budget analysts and program managers to ensure adequacy of documentation and sufficiency of information.
- →Perform full complement of budget functions and duties associated with the formulation and execution phases of a multi-million-dollar total budget.
- →Provide oversight management of all aspects of the budget functions.
- →Responsible for technical quality of budget work, giving advice or instruction to team members on budget requirements, technical matters, providing on-the-job training (OJT).
- →Advise and brief Senior Management on program and budget guidance.
