About the Role
This position is part of the Resources Directorate at Selective Service System. The incumbent will be responsible for a full range of administrative and analytical duties associated with the formulation, justification, presentation, execution and review of the agency's appropriated and revolving budgets.
What You'll Do
- →Provides advice and recommendation to Headquarters and field office program managers on the formulation, justification, presentation and execution of the SSS budget.
- →Develops budget estimates for assigned programs, including multi-year funding, personnel, facilities, equipment, security, logistics, transportation, and mail requirements supporting Agency operations.
- →Reviews, analyzes, edits, and consolidates budget submissions from Headquarters and field offices, ensuring technical accuracy, proper format, mathematical accuracy, adequate justification, and compliance with budget policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- ✓US Citizenship is required.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, determined by background investigation.
- ✓Direct Deposit of pay is required.
- ✓Selective Service registration required for male applicants, unless exempt.
- ✓Status candidates must meet time-in-grade (see Qualifications).
