This position serves as a Budget Analyst in the Justice Management Division, Budget Staff, Law Enforcement and Corrections Group located in Washington, DC. The Budget Staff has principal departmental responsibility for the development and execution of Department-wide program budget operations; planning of program budget review efforts throughout the Department, performance and efficiency; and Department-wide fund controls.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a Budget Analyst, GS-0560-9/11/12/13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Formulate, compile, and develop budget estimates for assigned activities missions, functions, and operations.
- →Prepare estimates of future requirements for a specific operating program.
- →Analyze, evaluate, recommend, and revise annual and supplemental budget requests.
- →Review component budgetary exhibits, apportionments, and monthly execution documents (SF-133).

- ✓All documentation must be in English or include an English translation.
- ✓If you are using education to qualify for this position, or education is required: You must submit a transcript, which may be unofficial, as long as it contains a full listing of courses, credit earned, grade and grade-point-average, subject area, degree(s) earned, and dates of award.
