About the Role
The Secretariat for Special Operations is organized within the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)). The incumbent of this position supports the entire Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO) towards meeting these Congressional objectives, including but not limited to staffing and human resource policies.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Performs budget formulation, execution, and resource analysis in support of SOF programs and mission requirements.
- →Reviews and evaluates budget submissions, funding allocations, and execution trends to ensure compliance with fiscal law and organizational priorities.
- →Develops reports, briefings, and analytical products to support leadership decision-making regarding resource management and budget oversight.
- →Analyzes program performance, funding risks, and resource impacts affecting enterprise operations, modernization, and provides data-driven resource recommendations to senior leaders.
- →Directs audit initiatives, internal controls, and risk management to ensure strict compliance with DoW audit standards and OMB Circular A-123.
