What You'll Do

- →At the full performance level (GS-11) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: The position is responsible for providing a full range of analytical, technical, and administrative duties related to formulating, executing, and monitoring financial plans (federal budget) and policies affecting the authorization and use of funds.
- →Provide consulting and advisory services during all phases of budget and related financial management matters for programs and projects for both parks.
- →Guide budget activities that involve innovative solutions to resolve budgetary problems, issues, or projects.
- →Formulate and establish budgetary control procedures so that deficits are not incurred and appropriations and obligations do not exceed the approved apportionment for any period.
- →Perform budget formulation and execution utilizing a variety of approved budgetary software.
- →Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
- →Salary Range Information: GS-9: $61,722 - $80,243 per annum GS-11: $74,678 - $97,087 per annum *First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level.

- ✓In the absence of agency action to affirmatively certify continued employment beyond the probationary or trial period, such appointments are terminated.
