What You'll Do
- →As a Budget Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Support higher level analysts with the preparation of annual budget estimates, operating plans and labor projections for the Office of Habitat Conservation (OHC).
- →Analyze, review and revise budget estimates, justification statements and execution plan for office programs.
- →Assist in reviewing and timing of allotted funds to programs and prioritize use of financial resources.
- →Conduct analysis of financial conditions of programs and present findings and recommendations to management.
- →Plan, develop and execute financial practices and procedures to enhance the validity, accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial processes.
- →Utilize automated systems to input, review and analyze cost data for budget planning and execution.
- →Collect historical data, workload statistics and objectives to prepare budget forms and statistical summaries needed to formulate the required budget.
Requirements
- ✓This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS).
- ✓Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
- ✓The ZA-3 is equivalent to the GS-11/12.
- ✓Key Requirements: Applicants must be U.S.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.
