About the Role
About the Position: Serves as Resource Manager formulating, justifying, and executing budgets across multiple joint appropriations. Performs financial analysis, program oversight, and funds control for both Special Operations and Army operating budgets. What You'll Do
- →Analyze congressional legislation, regulatory directives, and budget inputs to ensure strict compliance with command policies and formulation guidelines during the submission process.
- →Monitor budget execution, expenditure rates, and accounting records to advise officials on fund availability, manage transfers, and prevent anti-deficiency violations.
- →Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and visual charts to present financial status updates at committee meetings, leadership reviews, and external conferences.
- →Represent the command as a liaison, conducting staff visits to supported elements to resolve complex budgeting issues and secure appropriate funding reimbursements.
- →Develop budget estimate submission guidance and comprehensive training plans for financial personnel on reporting, fund execution, regulations, and year-end closing.
