About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Budget Analyst for the Joint Activities located at Fort Brag, North Carolina.
What You'll Do
- →Executes budget processes for the approved annual funding programs assuring appropriation funds are properly allocated.
- →Provides technical advice and guidance to HQs Directorates and supported units Budget Analysts and Program Managers.
- →Analyzes program/budget guidance and instruction provided by higher echelons to determine impact on the Commands operations.
- →Analyzes data for practicality/consistency of estimates, adequacy of justification, and compliance with prescribed laws, policies and regulations.
- →Develops local budget policy, procedures, budget formulation assumptions, formats and schedules for development of various budget submissions, obligations and expenditure plans.
